About the project
The primary goal of our youth exchange program is to help participants discover how sports and games can positively impact personal development. Traditional sports and games play a crucial role in fostering mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence among diverse cultural and social groups, serving as a cornerstone of identity. Many young people with limited opportunities often miss out on experiences that aid their personal and social growth. This can lead to low self-confidence, identity issues, and difficulties in building relationships. Our project aims to tackle these challenges by emphasizing the importance of understanding different cultures.
Aims and Objectives
- to provide young people with opportunities to engage intraditional sports and games and learn new skills;
- to provide intercultural learning and understanding throughsports and games;- to promote the values of equality, inclusivity, and respect for diversity in traditional sports and games;
- to improve digital skills and promote the use of technology toshowcase traditional sports and games and connect with otheryoung people across Europe;
- to encourage young people to explore their creativity anddevelop innovative approaches- to develop social and emotional skills among young peoplethrough participation, such as teamwork, communication, andleadership;
- to provide opportunities to learn more about the Erasmus plusprogram and all the other European programs that arebeneficial for young people.
